About Me
I am a qualified Secondary Science and Maths teacher having completed my PgDipEd at the University of Birmingham in 2016.

My speciality subjects are KS3/GCSE Science, Maths and A-Level Physics, and I have significant experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I have over 7 years tutoring experience privately and within schools, and have worked with a wide range of students, including those not able to attend main stream education due to social, emotional and health difficulties.

I created Blossomfield Tuition, as while working in the classroom environment I found it preferrable working with small group of students, as it allows for greater engagement, more practical learning and significant improvements to be made in a relatively short space of time.

I like to stay active and spend free time outside with my children and our dog. We are passionate about sustainability, recycling and eliminating the waste we produce. I am a vegetarian and only prepare vegetarian meals for my family even though they occasionally explore non-vegetarian meals outside the house. My children like to be included in cooking and activities that include exploring and helping the nature such as feeding the animals, planting wild flowers or building a garden pond. I like to link any practical activity to learning and see how their eyes glow whenever they learn something new.

I hold a current Enhanced DBS (formerly known as CRB) certificate which is on an Update service.

The sessions are taking place online or face to face, my house offers a designated tuition room and is conveniently approachable by foot from Tudor Grange and Alderbrook Schools.
