Science:

The transitions from primary to secondary can be stressful especially for Year 7 students who are introduced to lots of new subjects in a short space of time. Science is one of these and as it is considered a core subject, there can be a lot of pressure to perform. I focus on explaining the concepts via practical examples, where possible, and practicing numerous exam questions to help them prepare for upcoming tests that the students would not be experienced with.

Maths:

​

I help my students tackle Maths topics they are learning at school. They will get lots of practice and explanations of how the core concepts link to the real world, and how to apply them in exam situations. KS3 Maths is the core of GCSE Math, so an important stepping stone to achieving good grades in the future.
